Make your own
Turn sunlight on your roof into electricity for your home.
I make the electricity I use. Turn your roof into your own power source, store energy for later, and build a home that depends on the sun instead of the power company.

Turn sunlight on your roof into electricity for your home.
Store surplus solar energy in a battery for use after sunset.
Run your home with energy you produce, with a system designed around your needs.
Full independence from the grid starts with the right off-grid-capable system, enough battery storage and a design for your loads and local weather. The calculator below is a starting estimate, not an off-grid design.
Use the monthly kWh on your bill, not the amount in pesos.
Rooms estimate lighting only. Add your appliances and their daily usage below.
For a refrigerator, use equivalent compressor run hours (default 8), not 24 hours. Watts and hours can be edited to match your devices.
Battery size is based on the chosen share of daily energy spread over 24 hours, then scaled to your backup duration.
Illustrative planning values, not supplier quotes or live utility tariffs. Replace them with your local rates and selling prices.
Panel size = daily demand ÷ (sun hours × performance factor). Inverter capacity allows 25% headroom above the panel rating or estimated simultaneous appliance load, whichever is greater. Battery capacity includes usable-depth and efficiency allowances. Savings count direct use and usable stored energy; exports earn credits only if enabled. Equipment cost ÷ monthly savings gives simple payback.
Use rooftop solar during the day and draw from the grid when needed. A grid-tied system reduces dependence on purchased electricity.
Standard grid-tied systems stop during a power outage.Add battery storage to use your solar after sunset and support selected loads during outages. Full off-grid operation needs a system designed for that purpose.
Actual backup depends on battery charge and connected loads.Energy independence is a long-term commitment. Keep your solar system cared for with scheduled visits throughout your 5-year membership.
One scheduled inspection and care visit every three months. Four visits a year, 20 visits over five years.
Review the condition and operation of your panels, inverter and battery, where installed.
Scheduled system care and guidance on any issues identified during your visit.
Make a single payment for your 5-year care membership, with a scheduled visit every quarter.
Membership pricing and the detailed service scope are provided in your service proposal. Both payment options include the same quarterly visit schedule.
